How to Stop Upgrade Pop-Up Spam In Vegas Pro 14

Hey all.

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I searched and couldn't find a conclusive answer. I'm still on Vegas Pro 14 (hasn't been a compelling reason to pay the cost of upgrading for my use case) and every single time I start it, I'm getting this obnoxious pop up with an upgrade offer. It doesn't matter if I click the "Don't show me this again" tickbox, it always ignores that setting. I'm finding it really obnoxious to have paid a lot of money for a piece of software, just to get constantly nagged to spend more every time I run it.

I've seen reference to uninstalling "MAGIX Connect" in other threads but that's not installed. This is actually happening on a new PC I built recently but it happened on the previous one too so it's not an issue with this machine specifically.

Is there any way to permanently suppress this nagging? I'm not going to lie, it's if anything, making me not want to upgrade more. Thanks!

Have you deselected this box?

I had not no. I would have thought clicking "Don't show me this again" would serve that purpose but I guess not. :) We'll see if this does the trick. Thanks!
