i drag a clip to movie stuidios then it crashes why?

i open up movie studios then i put add video and when the folder comes up and i click on the video its freezes and crashes why?

Which version and build of Movie Studio?
What kind of video are you trying to use?
Post the MediaInfo of it.

vegas movie studio 15 I just bought it and its a video from my a7rii camera I do weddings video and it wont let me drag it without the program exiting

As long as you don't tell on what hardware you are trying to "drag it" and don't show the MediaInfo of the type of video you made with that camera, nobody here can help you
