Importing an Adobe AfterEffects Project into Vegas 19 Pro

Just wondering if it is possible to import an Adobe After Effects Project into Vegas. I have looked through the forum and apparently it was something that might have been possible back with on 2012, but could not find anything more recent.

My scenario is I have built a 10 video countdown timer using expressions in After Effects. I am preparing media for an event that will involve multiple countdown timer videos, but they are not all the same color and so I need to make tweaks to the timer for each 10 minute video. Because the timer is on it's own layer above other content it needs to have an alpha channel. If I render out an HD file with alpha from AE, it is huge! It would be ok doing that if it was just one time but I need to make multiple versions. It is not practical to render everyone, it would be great if there was a way to import the actual AE project into the Vegas timeline so I did not have to keep rendering each version. I know I can do the project in Adobe Premier where I can nest AE projects in the timeline, but wondering if it is possible to do in Vegas. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried rendering an .mov file from AE with RGB + alpha? That always works for me, and the file size is reasonable.

Note to self (everyone else please look away -- the note that follows is a reminder for mine eyes only): Figure out a clever, kick-booty signature that suggests I'm completely aware of how to properly and exhaustively party on and that I, in fact, engage in said act on a frequent and spontaneous basis. All joking aside, listing my computer's properties is a futile endeavor. I edit multimedia in a local television station newsroom that has Vegas Pro installed on several machines with widely varied specs. We began editing non-linearly with Pinnacle Studio Version 8. That didn't last long before we upgraded to Vegas Video Version 4, then to Vegas Pro 10.

Sorry jeffagwm, Not at all possible!

Thanks to those of you who responded to my question. In the end, rather than just making the timer element in AE and doing the rest in Vegas, I created much more of the project in AE.
