Importing Clips On There Own Timeline

Hello everyone.

Question 1: I would like to know how to import several clips at one, BUT, have each clip import on it's own timeline. Two lines per clip. One Video and One Audio Per Clip. I do have VegaSaur if Vegas can't do this on it's own.

I have looked around you tube, google, and the Vegas manual. I can't seem to locate instructions on what seems to be a very simple task.

Question 2: I have a need to use the left audio track for BOTH left and right. Can I somehow batch this operation over say 12 plus clips without the need to do each audio portion of the clips manually?

Many thanks in advance for any help you can lend.

"I would like to know how to import several clips at one, BUT, have each clip import on it's own timeline (actually track)."

Select the clips in the Media Pool. Right + Click  and drag to the timeline while holding the selection. You'll see a context-sensitive menu option to Add Across Tracks.

"I have a need to use the left audio track for BOTH left and right. Can I somehow batch this operation over say 12 plus clips without the need to do each audio portion of the clips manually?"

Select all audio tracks and drag the Pan slider full left. All sliders will move at once.

@john_dennis, Thank you. As always, your instructions worked perfect. One last question regarding my second audio question. You said to "Select all audio tracks and drag the Pan slider full left. All sliders will move at once." It's true, they will and did. However, I have always, in the past, right clicked on the audio track and selected Channels, then I selected left only. Obviously, the way you described is much faster and exactly what I requested to know. Out of being curious, I can't help but wonder if my manually described method is actually doing the same thing that you described by "panning". Thank you once again. You are always spot on.

See for yourself.

Download this 880 Hz - 12 db sine wave:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ppiarqvVVGm4t7Oo56_DAp9hZtGqbNuf/view?usp=sharing

Drop it on the timeline and test all the options while watching the Master Volume meters.

Remove any track fX that might be active.
