@anuser Your video stream is jpeg which is why QT is needed. Your audio is AAC which initially I thought was unusual for a mov file but checking on the net shows it is acceptable. It's possibly unusual though. My old mov files with jpeg video are all PCM audio.

Does the file play with audio in QT player? Anyway you could try converting to mp4 with either ShutterEncoder or Handbrake. Both are free convertors and recommended by pros on this forum. With ShutterEncoder you could try a "rewrap" which avoids re-rendering.

The file does not play on QT as well.

Thanks for suggesting converters. Does rewrapping results in shorter conversion time? Actually, I was going to do some edits to the file and render it as mp4 on Vegas. Since I can't do it straightforward, I think I'll just do my edits on Corel Video Studio, which I used to create the file, and render it as an MP4 file there.
