Insert Subtitles from file doesn't open dialog box anymore!

I have Magix Vegas Pro 18 and it worked great for my needs in the past! I have made many lyrics videos for my music... Now it doesn't work anymore after a break in the job of making lyricsvideos...

When I choose Insert-Insert subtitles from File there is no dialog box that opens up! Nothing that let's me choose a file!

Can someone help me?

Normal that window for Insert Subtitles pops up at your screen.
You can try 2 things:
1.Look behind the toolbar or on a second screen
2. Go to the menu View and choose in Windows Layouts for Default lay-out

I am using Vegas Edit 19.
I am having the same problem as ChessChamp.

If default window layout doesn't help, reset Vegas? It's still there for me.

I tried upgrading to Windows 11, reinstalling and deleting the registry, but what I couldn't do was easily fixed.
What a lot of time I have spent so far!
