I have no idea what button I pressed or what option I choose but for some reason now, it worked fine earlier, when i insert text media on another video track it puts a sample text there but it also replaces my video with sample text on the track below. Also before the problem occured I immidiatly got the option to edit the text now I dont. Does someone know how to fix this?

I now realised i have the problem again it also occurs when i insert a media text in the lowest track it also inserts/ copies it into the other one here is a print screen.
I did not ask for a print of the inserted media but of your total INTERFACE

Look for it in the help - these practical "Hamburger Buttons" are available several times in Vegas Pro.

Maybe your track height is too small - try to enlarge it with the mouse - or set it to standard - double-clicking on the vertical slider makes it either small or normal. Sometimes dealing with the help built into the program also helps - you don't have to ask everything here:
