I just noticed that inserting an audio track is now -4,8 dB in VP22 build 194?
It is in every VP22 project new or old I open now.
Did I do something stupid or saved a different default? I do not recall.
Or did something change with the new audio features such as audio ducking, normalize...
VP21 has 0 dB as default volume.
Could someone confirm this?

@john_dennis thanks for the effort, but my question is to something which is perhaps better explained by a picture:

Right + Click on audio track header...
Perhaps you changed it to -4.8 and then saved that as the default?
Change it back to 0.0 and then...
Right-click the audio track header:
Choose Set default properties:

I guess I did something stupid, found the issue, I must have pressed "set default track properties" on a track with -4.8 dB (right click on track header) while I was trying out the new audio ducking!
After selecting "restore original defaults" all is fixed, inserting new tracks have 0 dB as it was before.
