iZotope Mastering Suite serial # missing

rraud wrote on 3/13/2017, 11:07 AM

Magix customer service stated to contact SCS about a lost iZotope Mastering Suite serial number: "Unfortunately, if you purchased with SCS, we are unable to view the details for the past Sony orders. In this case you'll need to contact SCS directly to obtain this information."

Does anyone know where I can contact SCS. Their website customer service support no longer has a category for the former products and I can't find a direct customer service email address

In any case, I was using SF-10 and 11 on a now retired PC with the older DX version of the iZotope Mastering Suite and had never activated the newer VST version which has more tools. Unfortunately I now longer have the info

FWIW, I do have the SF-11 serial number and that installed without issue and functions normally.

Thanks for any help, Rick (aka, rraud)

PS- Does Magix have a separate forum for Sound Forge? If so, I can't find it.

Hi,

The Sound Forge forum is under this on Magix.info. Go to Audio, and click on the Sound Forge button.

Also, since Sound Forge was bundled with Magix Samplitude Pro X3 Suite, it has also been discussed on the Samplitude/Sequoia forum. You need to sign up to get access.

Vegas Pro 18 Edit, Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum, Magix Video Pro X16, Magix Movie Studio Platinum 2024, Xara Designer Pro X19, Samplitude Pro X8 Suite, Music Maker 2025 Premium, SF Audio Cleaning Lab 4, Sound Forge Pro 16 and more.

sonypictures@mailmw.custhelp.com is the last email address I received support correspondence from in 2014. Before that was sonypictures@mailnj.custhelp.com. Your order confirmation probably came from confirm@sonycreativesoftware.com

Bit a shot in the dark but you could try those addresses as a last resort. I would also try support@sonycreativesoftware.com and/or info@sonycreativesoftware.com

Before giving up I would also try submitting the question at https://www.custcenter.com/app/ask under a different category.

Finally, there's a fax number on http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/customerservice If you don't phone it, someone might even pick up if you actually phone it.

Thanks Nick, That's what I did, queered SCS CS under a different category and they did respond (quickly I might add). SCS, stated they do not have the actual purchase order, but SF11 is listed online on 'my software' page and the SF11 serial # is there. I think the problem is, I was a beta tester for SF11 (and Spectral Layers), so it was not a 'traditional' purchase order. After numerous correspondence, they suggested I contact iZotope. iZotope stated that's a Magix issue and to contact them, so I'm back where I started. A frustrating experience and all three entities are on the shit list.
