Laptops with AMD graphics for Vegas Pro?

- Intel i7 CPU
- 16GB or more RAM
- 1TB or more drive
- 15.6" to 17" display
- Less (preferably much less) than 4kg
- Internationally available
- AMD GPU

In view of the fact that AMD GPUs (or at least some of them) seem to play nicer with Vegas than recent NVIDIA GPUs, I've been searching for a laptop with the above specs.

The TOSHIBA Satellite P55T-B5262 is a close miss. Only 12GB RAM. It has an AMD Radeon R9 M265X. Some negative reviews.

The "Vegas-perfect" AMD Radeon R9 M290X appears in this customized MSI GX70 Destroyer, which ticks all the boxes, but looks like US-only. Otherwise that GPU only seems to be in very heavy Alienware laptops and discontinued MSI GX70 laptops.

The Dell Precision M2800 is configurable, although only up to 8GB RAM, and has an AMD FirePro W4170M. Any good for GPU acceleration in Vegas? Which brings me to a question... The HD 5870 & HD 6970 are proven performers with Vegas, and the R9 290/290X are apparently working well. What about the numerous AMD GPUs that came along in the interim period? Does anyone have a handle on which ones work well and which ones don't? I've read that the HD 7xxx series+ don't work as well as the HD 5870 & HD 6970.

Or should I just stop obsessing over AMD and get a laptop with NVIDIA?

curiosity - do you really need more than 12gb ram for vegas? (ps using raw i understand).

I'm not sure. I'll be working with 10-bit 422 4k video files, and I also tend to have a lot of stuff running at once. 12GB might be OK though. Would be interested in further opinions on that.
