Recently my Sony Vegas stopped working when launching. When I try to open a project file or add media, it begins building the peaks for audio but freezes and sometimes crashes Sony Vegas. I think the compoundplug file is the reason why it wont load peaks. But when I disable it, the audio for clips isn't in sync. But I know they're in sync when comoundplug is enabled however the peaks won't load then. I'm not sure how to fix this issue.

I am on version 13. I have not changed anything since last time it worked, I have no drivers that have installed or drivers that need to be installed. Please help!
