Loss in Quality when Rendering Videos

StormAFK wrote on 5/25/2015, 1:06 PM
So whenever I render a video for YouTube, the video comes out all motion blurry. I've rendered at the same resolution and frames, no matter what I try I cannot get the videos too look good. If anything, they look better before rendering - but I cannot upload 5gb YouTube Videos, Please Help!!

Do a search on rendering for Youtube. Bear in mind YouTube re-compresses everything too.

Already followed about 10 different rendering/recording 'best settings' videos... None of them work :(

This may not be the 11th thing to try and may not make you feel any better, but sometimes it's good to know when to quit.

"If anything, they look better before rendering..."
That should always be the case unless you're rendering to a lossless codec.

"...but I cannot upload 5gb YouTube Videos..."
In some cases it wouldn't make much difference. The youtube encoders do what they do.

What are your:

Project Properties (including PAR)

Render Properties (including PAR)

Has youtube finished processing all the different pixel dimensions?

Are you watching (and taking screenshots) in HD on youtube?

What exactly is the problem you're trying to show in the after image? I don't see any blur.

If motion blur is really the problem, make sure you render to a frame rate that matches the media file frame rate, and disable resampling on the video events.

You also can not use non square pixels.

Just curious, what format are you rendering to?
Maybe try rendering to low compression .mov file?
