Magix Vegas Pro 15 - Video Rendering assistance for YouTube 1080p

Hi,

I would like know the current best settings for YouTube Rendering for games when recorded with Fraps & Windows DVR capture.

I've seen plenty of Magix Vegas Pro 15 recommended settings but the quality rendered isn't satisfactory as I can see certain blurry texts, etc during fast motion before the upload itself & original quality is way better than the rendered ones.

These are current project settings:-

Render Settings using Magix Vegas Pro AVC:-

Render Settings using Sony AVC/MVC:-

I need your assistance in figuring the best rendered output for YouTube settings.

Thanks in advance.

This post is out of date since VP15 but should probably still help you. Much of the info for the MainConcept AVC/MVC encoder is interchangeable with the MAGIX AVC/AAC encoder. The Sony AVC recommendations should still be the same.

In general upscaling video is not a good idea but since you're rendering for youtube and aren't satisfied w/ current results you could try running some 4k tests. This article has comparisons which show 1080p renders uploaded to youtube & vimeo in original 1080p compared to 4k upscaled uploads. It seems like both will do a better job of encoding (even a lower res 1080p render for end users) if you upload an upscaled version. Keep in mind rendering to 4k is extremely process heavy and will take a long time if you can't use GPU (flakey in Vegas as the moment).
