Wow, Ron, that’s truly odd indeed. As you demonstrated, pulling the text further over the lower Event should really work too. I’m going to try and repro. BTW, what is that Font. Nice and graphical.

Try creating a screen of white generated media and put that after the word China. If that works, then I can tell you what is happening. Also, are you using Track Motion to zoom?

Pan and crop to zoom.

Okay. Let me know if the white generated media does anything.

Ok with track motion I can get the video to play but the text has to be the size of the video. I have to play with the zoom as it goes way to fast. Not sure if this is the solution. Still experimenting.

Try the white generated background right after the text. You are inverting the key somewhere or else the white text would not be transparent. Where are you doing this?

Pan and Crop with keyframes.

It is looking for an luminance to cut through the picture. Once you stop your graphic, the luminance
is gone. Either move your next scene to a track above the text or use a white screen. It is because you are using the Multiply Mask. It affects everything below your text track.
If your white screen is butted up against the last frame of the text, it should work with no glitch.

I am able to get it to play if I trim the font when it stops showing the video and put white in there the video continues to play. It just looks messy and I not sure what else would work.

I might have edited my last comment while you were typing. You might look at the help file on using Parent/Child tracks. Their example does this same effect but uses an alpha rather than luminance.

I tried parent and child no luck here is the video with the white generated media:

Yep it looks like that is the solution. Thanks to everyone here.

I found another way that might work. Use a MUTE ENVELOPE to mute the text track when you don't need the effect. Help explains how to use it. I just tested and the MUTE ENVELOPE works well.
