There are also picture fonts, maybe you can find a palmtree font picture which replaces the letter T in VACATION, or a beachball replacing the letter O.

Yup 3P, I was getting there. Maybe having the BEACHBALL as an animated GIF ( you remember animated GIFs?) - I'd like to substitute the WHOLE Text with a more vacation-y type font. Also also also .. you could have the Type jiggling a bit - less is more tough.

EXTRA! How about having the video transition from a saturated/3-Strip colour colour grade to normality?

Now THAT is spectacular! There's still some tightening-up to do, but for my money, you're almost there.

Now, the biggie: the look of all that BLACK, just isn't "saying" VACATION. You have yet a further opportunity to finesse the Intro look with something more sympathetic and reflective of holiday. Maybe a granular sand backdrop or deep Bokeh of lights or any Vacation-y reference? But of course the whole sequence could have the sound of lapping waves, mixed with the cries of people enjoying themselves, seagulls coming-up from a short sequence Black - your World's Yer Lobster!

I really enjoy 😊 doing this stuff. Thanks for the opportunity.

I am not sure what you mean by tightening it up can you explain. You mentioned changing the background, I didn't know how to do that other than the standard black.

Tried installing fonts and using them in Vegas, they work alright in PS and Wordperfect, but not vegas, I like the idea though.

That´s a bug/problem in the title&text generator, try the Protype Titler or the Legacy text generator instead, both have also scaling options.

Its not working when I want to install the font in place of T all the fonts change, and Protype Titter will not let you create a mask effect. So it was a good idea but I have to pass on it.

Ofcourse you can replace, select letter T before changing font style.

I don´t know why you cannot create a mask effect with Protype Titler, I can:

I was able to create it in Protype Titler but the font was not lined up with the others and looked out of place. Thanks for the help.

When using a font that is not lined up with the others, than use an extra title block just for that letter.

I am not that good with the Protype Titler. A tutorial would be awesome if you use Camtasia, and I can't find Impact font in there either.

IMO the point of the Palm tree was that the TREE would look like the T in VACATION. Here it doesn't. Need to loose the surrounding island and so-on. Apart from anything else the word doesn't scan now. Great idea though!

3POINT wrote on 8/13/2017, 12:18 AM

I just took that palm tree as an example and because it was already present on my computer, it's actual the letter J of webdings font. A little rearranging gives a better letter T impression. But probably you can find a better example.

Understood. I've been all over W-Dings and couldn't locate it.

A little rearranging gives a better letter T impression.

Sure.

But probably you can find a better example.

I doubt it.

Just another composition example:

Love it 😍.

I'd like to see the letters coming in closer to the trunk of the Palm, almost if they were also chill-laxing.

Maybe even tighter? Maybe reduce size of the Palm?

Reduce the shadow of the recliner, it's starting to confuse the impact. But I do love it 😍! Where can I get my tickets/booking?
