Missing media manager/library, only a pain for me ?

Hi all,

when I bought the Vegas Pro 18, I remember the time I was using an old Vegas Pro release, probably 10, and I expected to have at least the same tools.

But now, media manager/library functionnalities are not part of Vegas Pro anymore. And for me, it's a real pain. I started a Youtube channel (about Tesla cars and disabled people) and I would like to easily find my recorded rush video. Some project can use video rushes from different sessions.

With old Vegas Pro release, media manager was able to tag videos without being in a specific project. I know that some new functionnalities should come, Vegas Prepare, but I don't know how other users are working, perhaps with another video editing software ?! Or do you have tips ?!

Thanks

My first car - a Fiat 600, built in 1952, had a cable to fix the accelerator pedal. (an early, very practical form of "cruise control", as it allowed me to disengage my gas foot). Unfortunately, my subsequent cars no longer had that.

Some kind of media manager was announced for Vegas Pro 18, it was asked for very often - unfortunately without any official statement when it will really come. Here is a thread where (also) alternatives were discussed:

Thanks for this answer. I tried Adobe Bridge, it seems to be a good alternative but ... great issue with it, this software cannot preview my GoPro H.265 MP4 ... I'm not lucky !
