Since upgrading to Vegas Pro 17, I cannot add a volume envelope to an audio track. Right-click on track shows "Insert/Remove Envelope" and selecting Volume turns seems to do what it's supposed to... but I never get/see an envelope.
Vegas Pro 17.0, Build 455. Dell XP8940, Windows 10 Home, Version 20H2
Would appreciate any suggestions...

I guess this is probably the answer here.. I don't think I've ever done a lot of personalizing Vegas so it shouldn't be a big setback. To be certain though, I will take screen shots of all the "options" and all the "preferences (all tabs" before I do this. Will a "reset" impact my project properties? Or will those stay with the project file and not be directly impacted by a reset? Thanks much for your help.

No. Only the global properties (but it will reset the "default" properties when starting a new project).
