Mocha Pro has been set up for a tracking, with a cut out, but in Vegas it is not rendered correctly. I have no idea what the problem is. The screenshot demonstrates the misalignment on Vegas vs the correct alignment in the Mocha Pro plugin.
I've had that happen if the size of the video event has been altered in any way in Vegas Pro - such as Pan/Crop or Track Motion. The event sent to Mocha Pro OFX must be at its default size on the timeline.
Also consider whether or not the video event matches the video size set in Project Properties, though I'm not really sure if this would be an issue or not.
I have a similar problem where the inserted image is placed in a different position to the tracking blue frame on the screen and also will not track on the video footage, the placed image just sits in the same place. Using an earlier version of stand alone mocha would work perfectly but this Vegas plugin seems to have an issue does anyone have a solution.
OK launched Vegas 21 with message to install the update so clicked on it, install started to then display message below about administrator rights so logged on as administrator but still get the same message, I have tried deleting the Vegas folder as administrator but cannot still message that I don't have administrator right so what is going on.
OK restated computer and logged on as administrator and installed OK? but it has taken out my Nvidia Quadro card option in preferences/video so GPU option now only "off" option showing but was working under build "187"
Setting preferences to defaults has made no difference in showing Nvidia option in video still only "off", also still the same problem with no image tracking in Vegas with build 300, the placed image is displaying on the screen but will not track across the screen when playing. When in mocha the frames track across the image correctly but in this Vegas version you are not able to view the placed image in mocha like you can with the pro version but that's not a problem if the end result is the same.
Tried re-installing Vegas and still the placed image will not track the video. In Mocha layer properties I add the mocha logo and that tracks in Mocha fine so follow the instructions and place my image and appears on the screen but will not track the data I created in Mocha it just stays static any help out there.
I take it three days on that there is no solution for the Vegas Mocha plugin not working or is it working correctly for any one else.

@gareth-d Hi, unfortunately you joined a thread that has been [Solved] in the main list of posts, (I think you created another post which has now disappeared, presumably because you were told to carry on with this one 🤷♂️). So most people prob won't read this page thinking it's just an ongoing convo that has arose after the solution to the OP's problem has been found & you've given very little info to help fix your problem .-
Can you click your icon at the top of this page - My Profile & fill in your Signature with the full name of your CPU, GPU & amount of RAM, also inc the Windows & Vegas version, this will then always show at the bottom of your comments,
Also there's an App called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo After downloading, right click on the media file in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍 Share the MediaInfo of your video & the image or whatever your Insert is.
Like this
A screen captured video of what happens with Mocha & to the insert in Vegas would be good, or many pictures showing full screen Mocha, full screen of the Vegas UI, Vegas Project properties, a pic of the video & image/insert in Pan/Crop, mention any effects added.. The more info you give the better whether you think it's relevant or not.
All's working now I have switched to another computer with Windows 10 and Nvidia 980ti card as the problem was with the Nvidia Quadro card driver running on Windows 8.1. First impressions are good with a short clip so I'm interested to see how I get on with something more complex.
