More Vegas 5 Specs Arrive

Some of this is new and, for people like me, pretty exciting (bezier masking, subclips, end-actions, etc. -- basically the wishlist of features for a DV filmmaker... hope to see RS422 control, too)

For me, the bezier masking is worth the price of the upgrade alone. It'll save me a lot of time going to AE and back.

As much as I want to jump on the VV5 upgrade, I think Im going to hold off this time because I dont see VV5 supporting the JVC GR-HD1 and theres no way I can foot the bill for VV5 upgrade and the awfully ovepriced HD plugin from Cineform. Mostly my fault for buying this camera but whats done is done. :(

Unfortunately I think what'll really upset you is when Sony or Canon or Panasonic release the next generation of HDV cameras.
