Motion Tracking an image on a separate timeline affects ALL timelines

Good afternoon!

As the title indicates I'm having some problems and quite frankly I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out how to solve it. I have a single image on a completely separate track that I wanted to motion track to a rough 45 degree left, and then composite a video behind it; however, when I attempt to set this up, it seems that the track motion effect for that single image is affecting everything on my timeline--altering all videos to that same 45 degree left. I've removed key-frames and even positioned the key-frame to affect different tracks, but nothing seems to work. I'm using Sony Vegas 15 Build 177, can anyone point me in a decent direction as to how to fix this?

Are you parenting the tracks?

No, just double-checked to make sure I hadn't. Neither are paired together, it's like the Track Motion settings just overtook every single thing on my time-line globally.

Apparently I had upset Sony's order of operations. Once I readjusted my timeline to make sure I was already using my background video, the motion tracking stopped affecting all of my tracks together. I don't know why I couldn't just restore the default settings for the original video, but I guess I'll remember that order of operations count.

Updated to build 216 for starters.

And Vegas is no longer owned by Sony.
