Move to Next Edit Point Not Working

Move to next edit point (Control-Alt-Right/left Arrow) is not working. This applies to V10, V12, and V13 that are installed. I suspect that some other software is "hi-jacking" (for want of a better term) that keyboard shortcut. Any suggestions on how to find out which other application is causing the problem would be appreciated.

I'd start with the application for your video adapter like Intel (R) HD Graphics.

anything that takes control of keystrokes is suspect - start most likely with devices like Shuttlepro installs, mice, and especially trackballs. Do you have any special software driven by very few keystrokes - like screen capture is good example. Do you have any keystroke macro loggers aboard - these can hurt as well as help you out of a jamb.

You were right. Even though Hotkeys were disabled, I noticed that the Ctrl-Alt-Left/Right were Hotkeys for display rotation. I changed them to something else and now everthing is OK in Vegas again. Apparently, there is a bug in the Disable Hotkeys option. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks for the tips! I just assumed something had changed a few versions ago and didn't bother to research it.
