If it were me, as I have, just keep the build 955, and wait for version 14 to be released (February).  The latest from Magix is build 967 and all it does is rename replacing the reference of 'Sony' to 'Vegas'.  However, if you want, go to the Magix website, download the trial version of Magix Vegas Movie Studio 13.  When you install, it will update your current build 955.  I'm not sure about the DVDA, sorry.
