Movie Studio Platinum won't startup.

When ever I try to open up Movie Studio Platinum, during the startup process, it always seems to freeze at "Initializing external monitoring". I'm not sure what that means, but I'm more concerned on why it always freezes at that part during startup. Can anyone please help. I'm using Windows 10.

As far as I know, I've used none.

I agree with Cornico. Also, it is possible that this has to do with a conflicting device. There is a showing that it may be a font foundry conflict. On creativecow.net, and in this blog this was solved by unplugging a webcam for other versions of Vegas. As devices are easy to unplug, you may want to try it first (such as headset, and webcam).
