Mp3 and Mp4 can't be imported to vegas on new Gs 77 msi

I just loaded vegas 19 on new laptop. It won't let me import any mp3's and mp4's in my projects, including projects I had began on my older computer that used the same clips. It's like a twilight zone. Previews other type clips perfectly, no lag, fast renders but.... I need to import my other clips. I read online that uploading quicktime will fix this but on vegas posts it says not to do this. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks

Okay, I will try to figure out how to do that, but like I said, these clips are all clips that were used many times before this year on my old dell desktop in vegas 19, regular songs on mp3's and mp4 clips from my samsung phone. They all can be imported into vegas on the old Dell , I don't think the issue is with the media.

After downloading, right click on the media in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the View option, select all, copy & paste in a comment here, 👍

I will try later tonight. I just made a test and deactivated my license and reactivated it on my old dell that I have been using with no issues with mp4s and mp3 for many years. I opened up the same projects from the new computer into the old computer with the same mp4s and mp3s that did not work on the new computer and they open fine and function normally on the old computer. I don't think there is an issue with the mp3s and mp4s. They just don't open on the new computer.

@peter90000 Hi, Ok but please try to complete as much in that link as poss, put your Windows & Vegas version, your PC specs in signature by going to your icon at the top of this page - My Profile - Signature, that will then show at the bottom of comments, Also when you can provide the MediaInfo, I know you say it isn't that but all of this is just part of the puzzle, & will help people understand your situation. thanks.

At the moment all that is known is that you can't open MP3's or MP4's on one computer but you can on the other. 🤷‍♂️👍
