Hi, this is my first time posting here, so please be generous.
My computer recently broke, and when I got it repaired, I had to reinstall all my programs, including Movie Studio Platinum 14.0 (Build 148). Before my computer broke, MP3s worked perfectly fine, but when I reinstalled it, one of three things happened: 1: It says the MP3 could not be imported, 2: The MP3 is imported, but is completely silent when I add it to the video, and 3: the MP3 is imported, but makes a bunch of screeching noises when added to the video. The only way I could even get MP3s into the project was by dragging them from a folder into the program. When I clicked on "Add Media," the option to import MP3s wasn't even there. I looked up a few tutorials on how to fix this, and they all told me to hold shift and click "Preferences." A tab called "Internal" should now be accessible, and all you have to do is enable something called "SO4 Compound Reader," but when I typed "SO4" into the "Internal" tab's search bar, nothing showed up. Is there something wrong with my version of Movie Studio? If so, is there any way to download one that works?
I'm using a Windows 10 computer, by the way, if that helps narrow things down. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
