@Yelandkeil Thanks 👍I found a similar option in MEP, reading up on MTS vs M2TS I wasn't sure if there would be a difference, Google mainly says MTS is recorded by Sony & Panasonic cameras & MT2S is the PC version of this file 🤷♂️

MTS is captured as clip sequence(s) in camcorder and transferred into PC it becomes M2TS, identical.
The store media of a camcorder could only save capture in segments, so as they transferred into the PC HD, the name changed, means also the segments are joined.
As this format (BDAV) was initially developed for bluray disc, the captured clips were interlaced. Your roll door reflects that interlaced "EFFECT" no matter how much bitrate it takes.

If you copy the segments direct into PC as MTS, there could be interruptions between time bound sequences.

That's why I transfer avchd video via Sony Catalyst Browser, and that can handle the splitted medias to be merged as one.
