My Vegas Pro 21 renders at 200fps and my Vegas Pro 19 renders at 2fps

This is an extremely frustrating problem. I have 2 versions of Vegas Pro on my PC, one of which I didn't get the normal route (Vegas Pro 21) and one that I just recently purchased (Vegas Pro 19.) 21.0 renders videos LITERALLY 100x faster than 19.0. I have used IDENTICAL settings as well as the same test source video to render into a 10 minute video.

No matter what I do, my "borrowed" copy of 21.0 renders waaay faster than my purchased copy of 19.0. I am dumbfounded, I have made sure all the settings are identical and are using my GPU. I thought purchasing the software would lead to MORE stability. Any ideas? I will post my specs below.

Windows 11

AMD 7700x

RTX 4070 ti

32GB ram

Samsung Pro 980 SSD

Last time I checked, Vegas Pro 21 was still being offered for sale.

21 started to rework the video engine and support for NVIDIA GPUs. There may be some performance benefit with media like HEVC.

What is your test video?

You can also test the benchmarks in my signature- there's no big difference between 21.208 and 19 on my systems.

VEGAS 21 is newer software, newer software often times has updates that make it run better.

That said, we don't give support for illegitimate software on this forum, so this thread is closed.
