@jetdv will this update for TFX7 to 360 be a perpetual license?

jetdv wrote on 9/14/2023, 7:11 PM

@Reyfox, both are available but I'm guessing that perpetual will cost more.

Tried to use the updated TP7.9 with VP21 to make a scrolling credit roll. I've done it before sucsessfully but not this time. It previewed fine by manually scrubbing with the mouse but press the play button and the size went small with only 3.5 lines. Bizarre. Gave up. Might be me. Life too short. Used VP21's built in Credit Roll instead. Basic but easy. If only it had a few more features! Why can't we have a built in titler that is easy to use with a useful set of tools that isnt as overblown and complex as Titler Pro 7.

@paul-marshall, please do make sure you report all issues to NewBlue.

Can't find this offer anywhere. Not in my NewBlue app manager, nor on the NewBlue website. Cheapest they are showing me is a special offer of $499 for TotalFX 360 Perpetual. Or $39.99 per month.

Here's the link:

https://newbluefx.com/tp7-upgrades-am/

That page has the lowest upgrade price at $99.99. There will be a separate mailing for TotalFX7 users with the upgrade offering of $59.99.

If you need the offering now, let me know and I can probably get a purchase link with the correct price.

Still got nothing from NewBlue about a $59.99 offer, despite them closing the ticket I had with them on this.

@MikeS, I'm checking on it. I have information on a $99.99 offer but not yet on the $59.99 offer so I don't think they've been sent out yet. But I'm asking about it.

jetdv wrote on 9/26/2023, 2:01 PM

Ok, if you go to www.newbluefx.com/login and log into your account AND you own TotalFX 7, you will get the upgrade offer presented there.

Reyfox wrote on 9/26/2023, 2:56 PM

Yep! See it! And it's perpetual.

Done.

MikeS wrote on 9/27/2023, 5:21 PM

And done here. Kudos to NewBlueFX for this.

Now, if the Vegas team can get a crossgrade price for SmartScription sorted, I'll be even happier ...
