OK card is installed and ran a quick test,
A video clip of 2:38 seconds at 1920x1080 AVCHD, Rendered to 8 Mbps HD1080-30P Windows Media Video 11 for Youtube..

CPU render times 11:22 seconds
GTX 670 render times 8:04 seconds

But you haven't told us which CPU rendered the video in 11:22 seconds, a Core 2 Duo E6400 or an i7-3960?

Sorry CPU is Intel i7 920 2.67Ghz...

just a straight clip to clip render or a clip with lots of FX? Because both of those times are appalling if they're clip to clip. I render much faster than that

interesting, but no sys specs, no format details (i/o), no fx details (if any).

like frigid... said. if straight render then there's something seriously wrong with your system.....

OK, grabbed footage straight from my SonyHD NX5U Cam and loaded a 2:37 Clip

AVCHD footage 1920x1080 converted to Bluray 1920x1080 60i template
GTX 670- Render time of 2:08 no color correction, with color correction added Render time 2:37
CPU-Render time without color correction 2:52, with color correction 2:50
