Maybe I'm hard to impress, but on a computer I find the new layout extremely clumsy and not at all quick to review. My habit was to have 50 posts on a page where I could quickly scan the topics, who posted them and who privided the latest response. I don't use a smart phone to fill in time while waiting, so am unlikely to find much use for this forum layout. Nice that the old forum has been transitioned here. I daresay more familiarity will make it seem easier to use, if not actually convenient.

The COW Site must've recognised/woke-up to the commercial value in offering a Mobi version. More access  options make more ways to raise revenue. More ways to raise revenue potentially means that the USER benefits. Isn't that how the "system" is meant to flourish?

OK, thinking sideways, maybe there could be a more ZEN-like, minimalist Forum too.

i know early days, but come on, you're dealing with people whose time is valuable not a bunch of idiots who are impressed with pretty interfaces or have the time or inclination to click and scroll endlessly just to get somewhere that should be almost instant.

Thanks Leslie! Actually I dicovered that the link in the email ('restore profile now') only works if the browser if 'off'. So now it has restored me to my old self, but I don't feel any better for that.

After reading all the replies (now on page 3) What was the topic heading? I agree there is too much wasted space here which is ideal for a phone or tablet but not for a desktop or laptop. The page should be able to read the viewers device and adjust the format accordingly.

At least the Magix crew responds to issues quickly. I applaud them for that.
