I've been using Sony Vegas Pro for over 3 years now and it is the best editing software I have ever used. But recently it has been giving me an issue I've never have before.

Before, when I would use any type of video FX or Text Media, while adding/editing those things in the pop-up screen I would be able to see it also changing in the preview screen in the top right corner. This made it so much easier to add/edit video FX or text media since I would be able to see how it looks like in the preview screen while I was adding it.

But now for some reason I cannot do that anymore. Now, for example, if I'm editing dark footage and want to add a brightness plugin, when I drag it over and the plugin pop-up screen appears, I won't be able to see the changes in the preview screen until after I exit out of the plugin popup screen. This may not be an issue for adding brightness, but when adding Text media it makes it a lot harder.

Also with text media, I used to be able to move the text around using the preview screen, and now I can't. I'm also unable to see how the text looks like unless I exit out of the text pop-up screen which makes adding a simple caption really long and annoying to do. And I'm not unable to move it for some reason since the way I moved it before where I click the caption on the preview screen and move it that way, is no longer working.

Another thing I noticed is that when a plugin/text plugin pop-up screen is open, the preview screen basically freezes. This makes it extremely hard to edit and I really would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how I can fix it.
