Well it looks like lots of back and forth here.

First off i have been using sony cameras and either going from tape to HDD or .m2t to HDD with this editor for hundreds of hours of video without a hitch.
I have filled many terabyte Drives and sent them to him.

I did back it up to 3 HDD"s total
the project was around 700 gigs with a multicam shoot. I used the Z5U as main camera as i was unsure of the new NXCAM even though we had spent days sending small files back and forth before this shoot.
We did discover that PCM was our first problem and switched to Dolby...you can see that earlier thread by me.

Last night a friend who is a mac o sx engineer and programmer who was able to play these files from one of my other hard drives on hand...there was no OOS with his mac playing the.m2ts files.

This best i can do at this time with my editor is that it is the dolby files....or i didnt include the hidden files. But the mac guy last night said the hidden files were in the folder and that is what he sent me for all the information i posted about the file from earlier.

At this point i can just pull the audio that is 6 frames OOS from the second camera with .M2ts and just use the main audio files from the Z5U with the .m2t filles.
The Z5u had a g3 ew 112 sennheiser and the NXCAM had one external shotguin mic and the internal mic as a backup for any sennheiser failure...we had two small ones.

At this point i want to use the cam again...had fun with it today at San Diego Zoo with my daughter and some pandas.
But can afford to pay my editor to fix every out of sync clip so i want to figure this out for the next shoot.

Yeah this might be a FCP issue and maybe i shouldn't have brought it to this forum....but who the heck else might i ask?
Lots of smart people on this forum...even idf a few take pot shots at me.
My success in the video business didnt come from running away at people who get upset with me.

Thanks to all who have helped...i really appreciate it!
