Every time I add a new video track, Vegas automatically adds a Brightness/Contrast effect to the entire track.

I know there was a way to turn this off (at least for audio effects) in previous versions of Vegas but I forget how and can't find it.

Vegas only started doing this after I applied a Brightness/Contrast filter to a track in a previous project. But now it's doing it for every project automatically.
