NewBlueFX complimentary copy of Skin Touch Up

I received an email from NewBlueFX:

Thank you for registering your NewBlueFX product!

Anyone know exactly what we're supposed to download? There are no "OS" icons in the email. I downloaded a trial version of Skin Touch Up but the file is called NewBlueEssentials3.exe and I don't trust it's the right one. Don't want to mess up the stuff that's already installed.

Nick, please contact NewBlue support.

The short answer - Video Essentials 4 - that's the package that contains Skin Touch Up.

I deleted the email. It looked like a spoof to me.

It's not a spoof. I made a support request and Edward sent me the link to a NewBlueFX Essentials IV download along with a serial number to activate Skin Touch Up. It's not the same serial number that was in the email I was sent. Skin Touch Up now works in both VP12 and VP13 but of course you get another bunch of NewBlueFX V4 FX that are in trial mode and will presumably show the watermark once the trial has expired. But can't complain at a $99 for free. Thanks Edward!

Good to know. However, I already had Video Essentials IV, so no consequence to me.
