Why can't I get Audio in Vegas Pro 17? When I had the Trial version it worked with no problems, then I removed it, trying other editing software’s. Now that I have the paid version the sound doesn't work, but works on all my other software. I'm using windows 10 and AMD High Definition Audio Device. Can anyone Help?
Have your tried different file types. Try a PCM <.wav> file. MP3s have been known to cause MP3 playback issues on some PCs. Confirm the event, track, sub-master or master is not muted somewhere
A full reset of VP may fix it : Hold down the CTRL + SHIFT keys at the same time and click the executable file <.exe> or shortcut icon to start the program. A pop-up option dialog asks. "Do you want to reset all Vegas Pro preferences to default values?" and "Delete all Cached Application Data?" This will restore VP to the Factory Default Settings.
Problem solved, the job I edited in the trial version of Vegas Pro 17 would not play audio when opened in the full version, so I opened a new job, drop a couple of the original files audio and video in the full ver. and it works. Thank you so very much for all your help. Hopefully, this will help someone else. Thanks again
