no audio on MXF import

Hi all. I have a Canon C300 mki and am trying to import MXF files into Vegas Pro 16. The files play back fine in camera and in VLC, but every time i drag them into the timeline the audio channel just shows a flat line and is silent. I am having no trouble editing MXF files from my Canon XF100 so its odd that only those created on the C300 are having an issue. Also tried importing to DaVinci Resolve and its all fine. Any help would be appreciated!

Post a sample file on a cloud share like dropbox, google drive, onedrive, etc. and provide the link here. Someone will analyze and suggest a solution. Many of us don't have C300 cameras.

I experienced no audio when I added the file to projects in Vegas Pro 13, 14, 15, 17, and 18.

Happy Otter Scripts for Vegas Pro was unable to transcode the MXF file to any other form successfully.

Still Looking for a solution.
