Thanks for answering. It happened with all media. But, I think I have found out what the problem comes from. I have 2 NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M cards on my laptop, and I had not enabled SLI. Nonetheless, when I enabled it, the preview was now working, but extremely bad and choppy. So, on the preferences/video tab, I selected "off" on GPU acceleration of video processing and it is much better. But, this would mean that MS17 is not using my GPU at all I think. And, if so, is it a problem from the software itself, or is there something that I should do on the cards configuration?

I would try to "deactivate "one of the cards in the Windows Device Manager/ Display adapters, restart and try again.

I tried it, but the driver is lost in the meantime, so when restarted and need to reinstall and the driver recognizes once again both cards. But, I am wondering, if SLI would make the PC consider both cards as one, then we is MS17 rejecting the setup. It works perfectly with games, and MS17 is the only software causing me problems so far.

Ok... @j-v I managed to deactivate the card by disabling SLI and then deactivating it on the display adapters.
Now the video preview works way better, but a new problem appeared: slow motion can be applied, but never be played on the preview... lots of stuttering. And, what is even worse is that when trying to render, MS17 crashes.
I tried to render without effects and I received a Low Memory message... so, now I am thinking, could it be that the graphic card is not enough for MS17?
