Much more information is needed in order to get a grasp on what may or may not be happening. Please refer to https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/ and provide information about your computer and your media as covered under B and C. MediaInfo ('tree' view) as per point C-1 of the video event that you are trying to reverse will be especially helpful.

I didn't watch it all, and have no input about the crash, but...if you want to know how to rotate the image you need to do this:

Set the project settings to 1080 x 1920 (your project is set to 1920 x 1080).

Then, click on the video on the time line, hit your right mouse button, and select properties (at the bottom of the pop-up menu). Next go to the media tab and set the rotation setting.

You will then need to edit one of the render templates so it matches the project settings:

The only example I have handy is a 720p clip, but the principle is the same:

Initioal project settings:

Modified project settings:

Modified media properties:

Modified render template:

@Nathanael-ALLAL

1. First, set the rotation on the media event - Right-click on media / Properties / Media / Rotation.

2. Then, set the project properties to match the properties of the media.

3.When rendering, set the render properties to match the project properties.

You appear to be trying to use the pan/crop tool to rotate the image---that doesn't work.

Instead, right click on the video clip, scroll down to select properties, then set the rotation in the media tab.
