I have just installed Vegas Platinum 17 and brought in a movie file which was edited on a another programme to render. It starts rendering but when finished says that 'The playback device Microsoft Sound Mapper does not exist'. Help please! I'm pulling my hair out! Thank you.

Thank you. I restarted everything and now am getting some success. However, I have another question, how do I resize and reformat this video for Facebook, Email, What’s-App please. Im not longer sure of the best format and usable sizes. I believe you can set some of this in the Vegas programme. Jeff
Therefore you have to give information about
- your used hardware: processor, graphic card and driverversion for that card
- used sourcefiles MediaInfo of those
- used rendertemplate
