nvidia quadro p600

I am using Vegas 18, build 527 I have two graphic cards in my laptop. I can't get Vegas to use the better of the two GPUs. I've tried a few things with no luck. Using windows 10.

- Intel UHD Graphics 630 & NVIDA P600 2 GB The intel works fine. The NVIDA does not work, other than a minor amount of activity. The NVIDA card works fine with other programs.

1. Reinstalled Vegas in an administrator account.

2. Went to Options < Preferences < Deprecated Features and make sure that Enable Legacy Gpu is checked and applied.

3. Reset program to defaults

4. Under preferences, made sure that video properties for GPU acceleration of video properties had the NVIDA selected.

5. Updated vegas, the drivers and windows.

6. Contacted Vegas technical support for these ideas on how to fix.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Pete

I don't think it has enough ram to be useful in Vegas (2GB while Vegas needs 4GB+)/

How are you actually evaluating P600 as 'not working' ? and your IGPU as 'working' ?

You need IGPU set for decoding and don't set Legacy GPU, your P600 is not legacy .

Try something that uses a lot of GPU to compare power of IGPU to P600, for example select Vegas Denoise and render using IGPU and again P600 as main GPU for processing.. Compare the encoding speeds. Both will be very slow, but P600 should be faster
