O.T. Video Cams in Heat & Sun

Hi everyone, I know this is a bit OT but I know I'll get some experienced answers here.

I'm in Japan in July and will be shooting a wedding. Likely to be 30deg + and humid. Also ceremony is outside in full sun (if it's not raining!). What should I do to protect my cams, don't want to cook them. They'll be on sticks in the open for at least an hour. It's the direct sun that worries me rather than the ambient air temp. Should I shade them in some way?

Many thanks

Umbrellas?

+1 I often shoot dragon boat races during the summer and insist that the venue provide either a large umbrella on a heavy stand or a small pop-up tent. I've seen videographers and still photographers use umbrellas that clip onto a tripod but have always shied away from this solution as I'm concerned about wind blowing over the rig.
