Optimizing RAM in Windows10 for VegasPro20

I had a catastrophic crash with my Windows7 system, with VegasPro10. I now have a Windows10 system with VegasPro20.

Everything works fine, but it's just much slower with things like loading projects, pulling lots of clips onto the timeline, and the preview playback seems to be struggling some to keep up. I'm wondering if I may not have the ideal settings for allocating Windows10 RAM to Vegas (?)

Is that a thing, or is VegasPro20 just more of a resource hog than version 10?

Well, it would be interesting to know what your machine specs are. CPU, RAM, video card if any, stuff like that.

Yes. AI, VST, HW Encoding, OFX, the list goes on.

After the first run, Vegas 21 is faster loading than 20.
