If Sony drags any longer, Adobe will beat them out the door with their 64bit NLE which if the info I have is correct, will be September.

For essential,value,better, unique vegas pro upgrade I can wait how much it will take.

SCS take all your time for another think,develop,refresh,suprise,reading users needs to bring us the best 64bit NLE pro in town.

Uh - you mean natvie "video" apps right? Steinberg and Cakewalk have had 64-bit native audio apps out there for some time now.

Only Cakewalk has a true released 64 app. Steinberg has nothing except a "preview" edition which is not worth the time to install - let alone use.

I'm actually a Cakewalk Sonar user. But I'm working in 32-bit thanks to the fact that most 3rd-party plugins are still 32-bit. So, despite the fact that Cakewalk is ahead of the game with a great 64-bit DAW, other software developers are holding up the game. Of course, the nightmare that is Vista (64bit or not) has not encouraged rapid migration...
