Only just found this:

Seems like a better way to enter text without a physical keyboard.
You can't get it on the iPhone as it's not approved by Il Duce.

Good demo!

I suspect this could be a good speed boost, with about the same learning curve as learning the original Palm Pilot stylus input.

If they wanted to put this on the iPhone (to reach a far larger customer base), app approval would be needed, but that is quicker nowadays, and the approval process also checks for malware which gives me more peace of mind.

As I said earlier above, the loser in all of this is Microsoft.

Their key selling point for Windows Phone 7 (due at year-end) is the new UI's grouping of apps and web pages into categories as "People" and "Games."

This just fills me with intense, insatiate, flaming desire!

Can I get it sooner if I sleep on the door mat outside their Redmond HQ?

Microsoft is now turning into the next SCO, trying to make a few bucks off cloud vendors such as Salesforce.com:

...the patents contested by Microsoft cover very specific areas such as “Method and system for mapping between logical data and physical data,” “Method and system for stacking tool bars in a computer display,” and “System and method for providing and displaying a Web page having an embedded menu.”

Amazing what you can do with an immense development budget.
