OT: Miller tripod for VX2K / Z1?

Sherman, it all depends which head you have and (on the DS10 and above), which position you have the counterbalance set. My VX2000 is fairly happy on the DS10 with counterbalance position 1 although there is a bit of springback from the furthest extents of a tilt (Z1 is perfect). There is a DS5 below this which I would have thought suited a DVX100a well.

It was the Solo legs that sold the Miller to me over the likes of Sachtler, Vinten and Manfrotto. I was warned against trying to put non-Miller heads on the solo legs.

Ralph on a Z1 you can achieve a speed 4 or 5 times slower with the rocker on the body than you can with any lanc controller.
