Patrick,
Praying for your mother and family.
I work for the company that most likely made that implantable defib.
The fact that you mom is a candidate for one may actually be a good sign.

Patrick,

I don't know if you believe in Jesus, but I do. I'm not trying to offend, but offer a prayer of healing and hope.

Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

I believe that God will heal your mother, because she'll go forth and be a testiment to His grace and mercy.

I believe that your mother has more to offer this world in terms of hope, joy, compassion and love. Therefore, God will make her illness cease! in Jesus mighty name.

It works through your faith Patrick. You must have strong, unwavering faith in God's healing power. What happened in her past is just that, the past. All the things she's done to her body is irrelevant at this point, because God's plan for her is for a future and a hope, and a life more abundantly.

With outstrected hands to my computer monitor, I pray for your mother. I believe that she will be healed in Jesus' mighty name. Keep the faith.

the Lalau's.

Patrick,

In short, I will pray for your mother.

Is she a Christian, ie has she lived in such a way as to bear fruit since her confession of faith for the glory of God and persevered even when that type of lifestyle was hard? I ask as it dictates how I pray for her- not that I would pray negatively by any means, but in what the major focus of my prayers will be outside of her becoming well again.

My grandfather died of heart failure, so I can relate to the situation- not a pleasant thing - especially when they have a defibulator. I will pray that she will have many long years a head of her so that if she is a Christian, she may continue to glorify God in all she does. If she is not a Christian, I will pray that she will recover so that she might repent and believe in Christ and be a faithful witness to Him.
Hang in there Patrick- don't miss out on what God is teaching you through this ordeal... remember, His burden is lite.

bigsole- I have a question for you- check your email.
