OT: Why a Mac never crashes

I've had many a MAC crash on me.
People said because it didn't give me the Blue Screen Of Death that it did not crash.
My @$$!!!

They either give me a BLACK Screen Of Death or the Spinning Beach Ball... to me that's a CRASH.

MACs are computers. Yes, they crash.
(plus they are so under-powered and way overdue for an upgrade to their lineup)

Thing is: with PCs there are just way too many configurations that people 'put together'.
With a MAC most of the Hardware Configurations are known and not changeable to the extent of a PC... that's when/where PC problems come into play.

When I stopped goofing with 'Home-Built' PCs and jumped back into the HP Workstations... most all my problems went away.
(AVID techs wouldn't even touch my Home-Built systems because they weren't supported... now I see why)

"Get a life and quit whining already."

You actually took the time to write what you did and you're telling others to get a life???

I can run Vegas, Premiere and Avid Media Composer on a PC and I have no need or desire to run FCP, therefore, there is no reason whatsoever for me to buy a Mac. Your needs may be different.

I was at an Apple Store in Costa Mesa couple days ago, and they had a bunch of iPads on display.

The software appears to be the same type deal as the Touch, but of course with a bigger screen.

So I asked one of the employees what the screen resolution was and he said "I have to go look that up".

But PC's are not susceptible to dullards. :)

=======================================
I would say that they are not susceptible to Windows rot (LOL), and there is no equivalent problem.
