hello guys! can anyone recommend me a build for editing HD (720-1080) video and rendering it. One of my main issues that i run into is that i cant run the the preview smoothly as it always stuttering. My budget is 1000$, though i can push it to 1200$. Any advice would be great, thanks!

I am running Window 10 btw!

Go thru this site:

They are working on DIY 12 (with i9) but that will be too much for that budget, just learn the basic needs and it depends on what you already have in your old system which could save money for the DIY 11, also look in forum members their profile (moderators and longtime/active members) what system they have, i followed in 2010 the DIY 10 it was I believe (sandy bridge system), never regret it, it's now my HTPC and still going strong as i upgraded to an x-299 system a few months ago.

The non-top-end Intel CPUs generally have integrated graphics and Intel QSV is great for Magix AVC rendering. My tests also indicate Intel graphics are beneficial for GPU acceleration of video processing. So that could enable you to save a lot on the GPU. So when you compare CPU specs, take good note of which Intel graphics model they have, not just the cores and clock speed.

There are lots of things that might make preview smoother.
