A number of my native plug-ins won't load in my Vegas 16. I get a message saying it "could not be run. One or more components required . . .may be missing. The COM object failed to initialize." Most but not all the plugs give the same response. Track compressor, EQ, Noise Gate and a few others do load, but not the majority. Running Win 10, no recent intentional changes made to anything. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Thank you rrad. Unfortunately that doesn't help. I see the plugs I want, but get this when I click on them.
Did you try 'elastique Timestretch' ? That should be available in VP-16 and can pitch shift as well as time stretch/compress
