Vegas Pro's native Pitch Shift FX is still there in Vegas Pro 20.

You might want to try resetting your Vegas Pro back to its default (factory) settings via the process outlined in https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/ to see if this will get it to re-appear in the Audio FX window.

In Vegas, you must select an Audio Track in order to bring up the Audio fx Plugin Chain. Is one of these what you are looking for?

Some of the Pitch Shift plug-ins are installed along with Sound Forge and are Direct X, so looking in a VST folder may be futile.

Oh my goodness, this worked. I installed Sound Forge and the plugin is back in Vegas! Strange that its tied to Sound Forge. I haven't been able to get Sound Forge to ever accept my key/license when I purchased them both unfortunately, but at least I got my missing audio plugins in Vegas now. THANK YOU!!!

Hi @theNightFuryfan95, most of the Sound Forge audio plug-ins and the interrogation with Vegas has been this way since Vegas' initial publication in 1999, which btw was an audio-only multi-track program.
The activation serial from Vegas will not work in Sound Forge if that is what you used. Sound Forge would have a unique serial which would be in the email from Magix when the Vegas package was purchased. If you activated SF previously, you can find your SF serial by logging into the Magix Service Center and go to "My Products". If you cannot find the SF serial, email Magix customer support: infoservice@magix.net

It is highly annoying/frustrating that the best pitch shifter and timestretcher plugin - Elastique Timestretch - now appears in the list (as per Musicvid's screenshot above) as "élastique Timestretch" - wtf?

I think this bug first appeared in VP18 ... I wasted a lot of time looking for "Elastique" only to realize it had been "renamed".... the developers are putting their Gibberish Plugin to good use!

It's just a character code issue -- I believe È in the title should have been written in Unicode.

The pitch shift Elastique Timestretch filter is still integrated and available within Vegas Pro without the need of having Soundforge installed. It can be selected within the Audio Event Properties.
